Understand the business requirements from Product Management and Client and facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with the client and software development team to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
Convert Client and Product Management approved requirements into different components, produce Functional Requirements or User Stories and provide inputs to Development and Quality Assurance teams.
Deliver detailed design walk-through with Product Management and Client and getting Product Management / Client sign-off.
Provide periodic project updates to internal/external stakeholders while being time sensitive to delivery.
Helping the business stakeholders envision the future and how their work will need to change to support the future.
Must Haves:
A passion for the Investment Banking and Wealth Management domain.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills, ability to grasp new concepts quickly and adapt to situations.
Ability to query SQL databases.
Strong time management skills, ability to work under pressure and ability/willingness to learn.
Proven track record in gathering definition and specification of requirements and excellent documentation skills producing Business Requirements, Functional Requirement or User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Sound understanding of the software development lifecycle models and methodologies.
Flexible to work in shift that has partial overlap with North America.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of trade life cycle and functioning of various middle and back-office brokerage operations.
Knowledge of wealth management with a good understanding of financial advisor activities.
Proven experience of having worked with teams across functions (Development/Business Analysis/QA).
Experience in working on application related to workflow management.
